Immersive Visuals on Cruise Ship Ceiling

In 2022, Can Buyukberber collaborated with the San Francisco–based creative agency IBelieveInSwordfish to create a set of permanent immersive visuals displayed on the LED ceiling of a state-of-the-art cruise ship.

iBelieveInSwordfish produced over 46 hours of 9k content to run non-stop for 10 days, featuring photo-real CG sea creatures, skies with flocking birds, nature shots, and a wide range of CG generative designs for the ship's stunning parametric architecture featuring a 50-meter LED ceiling in the promenade; an immersive walkway spanning 2,214 square metres beneath an awe-inspiring kinetic dome ceiling.
The images feature digital art by Can Buyukberber for IBelieveInSwordfish, displayed on a 50-meter-long LED ceiling. Inspired by parametric architecture, the slowly moving visuals enhance the immersive atmosphere of the ship’s interior as it cruises around the world.
